Presentation of i-blueCulture in the International Symposium of Conservation for Underwater Archaeology ISCUA ’23 in Formentera, Spain

i-blueCulture was presented at the International Symposium of Conservation for Underwater Archaeology ISCUA’23, held in Formentera, Spain between 29th September and 1st October 2023. The Conference is organized every 3 years by the Balearic Institute of Studies in Maritime Archaeology (IBEAM) on Formentera Island with central theme the promotion, protection and conservation of Underwater Cultural Heritage.

i-blueCulture was presented in Session 4 about New Techniques on October 1st by Angelos Manglis, project representative for Dive Skopelos. During his speech entitled: Novel digital approaches to enable virtual accessibility to Underwater Cultural Heritage, focusing on current initiatives the Northern Sporades region, he presented in detail the i-blueCulture project, the system’s philosophy and architecture, its goals and results project so far.
