i-blueCulture was present at the ISPRS Geospatial Week 2023 (GSW 2023) conference, held on September 2-7 at the Intercontinental Semiramis Hotel in Cairo, Egypt. The conference hosted 26 workshops on topics related to the development and application of modern technologies such as photogrammetry, digital and virtual representation, underwater mapping, remote sensing, etc.
For i-blueCulture, the system was presented on Sunday 3rd September by Kimon Papadimitriou from the School of Rural and Surveying Engineering of the University of Thessaloniki. I-blueCulture was included in the session “Cultural Heritage Visualization and Virtual Restoration” which discussed modern digital applications for the protection and management of underwater cultural heritage.
