On Wednesday, March 23rd 2022, an online workshop entitled “The contribution of innovative technologies to the promotion of maritime cultural heritage” was held for the students of the Master’s Programs “Cultural Informatics and Communication” and “Intelligent Informatics Systems” of the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication of University of the Aegean.
The Skopelos Diving Center, the UFR Team of the AUTH and the Ephorate of Underwater Antiquities participated in the workshop agenda, while Marco Cozza of 3DResearch srl from Italy presented a serious game inspired by Underwater Cultural Heritage.
The students had the opportunity to get to know the iblueCulture system and other initiatives that aim to promote and make accessible the underwater cultural heritage. The presentations followed an interesting discussion between the speakers and the students.
